School Technology Coordinator (STC)
FOR THIS TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT, STATE LAW REQUIRES A NATIONAL AND STATE CRIMINAL HISTORY BACKGROUND CHECK AND HAVE A LETTER, PROVIDED BY THE INDIVIDUAL, FROM THE CABINET FOR HEALTH AND FAMILY SERVICES STATING THE EMPLOYEE IS CLEAR TO HIRE BASED ON NO FINDINGS OF SUBSTANTIATED CHILD ABUSE OR NEGLECT FOUND THROUGH A BACKGROUND CHECK OF CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT RECORDS MAINTAINED BY THE CABINET FOR HEALTH AND FAMILY SERVICES AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT.
Job Description: Provide guidance and direction for the use of technology in the school, troubleshoot, conduct inventory procedures, and contact the District Technology Office when problems arise.
Responsible To: The school principal, District Technology Coordinator, and Network Manager
Management Tasks

Develop a procedure for staff to submit technology requests for the school

Provide feedback to staff on technology issues

Collect, Maintain and file Acceptable Use Policies for all staff at the school
Technical Tasks

Assist staff in setting up e-mail accounts

Provide feedback to the principal, teachers, and District Technology Coordinator regarding technology issues
-
Assist the principal in implementing the use of technology by staff in the school

Perform other duties as assigned
