FOR THIS TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT, STATE LAW REQUIRES A NATIONAL AND STATE CRIMINAL HISTORY BACKGROUND CHECK AND HAVE A LETTER, PROVIDED BY THE INDIVIDUAL, FROM THE CABINET FOR HEALTH AND FAMILY SERVICES STATING THE EMPLOYEE IS CLEAR TO HIRE BASED ON NO FINDINGS OF SUBSTANTIATED CHILD ABUSE OR NEGLECT FOUND THROUGH A BACKGROUND CHECK OF CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT RECORDS MAINTAINED BY THE CABINET FOR HEALTH AND FAMILY SERVICES AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT.

 

To assist in providing Morgan County students with equitable access to high-quality education and the opportunity to achieve at their highest level, the Deeper Learning Teacher Leaders (Elementary ELA, Middle/High ELA, Elementary Mathematics, Middle/High Mathematics, Science, Social Studies).  The implementation of Deeper Learning Teacher Leaders will provide leadership and guidance in identifying best practices and resources for instruction.  With the new curriculum purchased during the current and previous year, District Deeper Learning Teacher Leaders focus on ensuring access to support, and/or mentoring in personalizing learning experiences based on student data and interests while collaborating with teachers to apply effective teaching practices on reviewing and aligning the Kentucky Academic Standards and implementing current instructional practices.
